DJ OLLY GRANT

My love for music stared at a very young age. I grew up listening to my parents Beatles albums and old school dance tapes my dad brought back from Camden Market. I listened to a real eclectic mix of music in my early teens, including Cypress Hill and Nirvana.

But the album that really changed everything for me was The Prodigy Experience by The Prodigy. This album set me off on my life long love of dance music. I acquired my first set of decks soon after this album came out, at the age of 14, and that’s when my DJ journey began. My love of sound and audio has carried on since then, leading me to carve out a career working with sound for TV and Film.

Over the last 30 years I’ve DJ’ed at countless weddings, bars, birthday parties and everything in between. I’ve also DJ’ed on the radio, which really helped me build my microphone and hosting skills, something which has proved invaluable as an event DJ.

From the DJ Booth to the TV & Film Studio

That childhood fascination with sound didn't just stay in the DJ booth; it shaped my entire professional life. My obsession with acoustics, frequencies, and audio clarity led me to carve out a successful career as a sound specialist for TV and Film production. When you book me for your event, you aren't just getting someone with a laptop; you are hiring a professional sound engineer who understands venue acoustics, crystal-clear audio dispersion, and high-end production aesthetics.

30 Years on the Airwaves and the Dance Floor

Over the past three decades, I have DJ’ed at countless premium weddings, high-profile bars, milestone birthday parties, and bespoke celebrations across London and the Home Counties.

Crucially, my extensive background as a radio broadcast DJ allowed me to master the art of the microphone. I don't do cheesy, intrusive commentary. Instead, I bring refined, professional hosting and Master of Ceremonies (MC) skills to your event—ensuring your timeline runs perfectly, your guests feel welcomed, and the energy remains sophisticated from your first guest arriving to the final track of the night.

a glimpse into my favourite albums...

Music has the ability to capture moments in time and remain lodged in our memories forever. From way back into childhood we associate songs with events. I still remember going out to buy my very first album and then of course, there was the playlist for our wedding. When you work with me, I'll be searching for your treasured songs, anthems and albums as well as curating music tailored to your event.
